    A 48-year-old man from the Los Angeles County city of South Gate was killed Thursday afternoon, June 22, when his car rolled over on the I-40 between Barstow and Needles, the California Highway Patrol said.     Long Beach pedestrian struck, killed by car was crossing street against ‘Don’t Walk’ signal

    A man died after suffering critical injuries when he was hit by a car while crossing a North Long Beach street in violation of a “Don’t Walk” signal early Saturday morning, authorities said. The Long Beach Police Department learned of the man’s death Monday. Police only identified the deceased man as a 59-year-old Long Beach resident.
